about

An enlightened production collaboration between Les Pilitterri and the Rowland Brothers (featuring some slammin' satori leads from brother Philip) on Pilliterri's debut album: "Cowboy Buddhist".

Pillitteri certainly knows how to dish up some captivating melodies and intriguing metaphors ... "he rode the big hump Brahma" ... is that like rodeo Nirvana or just Zen Bull?

Check out the title cut--it gallops nicely! (Pilitterri plays bass on both The Dreamers and The Rowland Brothers "No Sleep ..." releases for you collectors/aficionados out thar, who could give a hoot.)

Who knows, at this rate, maybe their next release will be called "Om, Om On The Range". Suffice it to say, this release has some punch, some wallop and maybe even a bullet or two.
